Texas Toy Lab is a kid-run, dad-supported toy business in Austin, Texas. Joseph, 8, picks, prints and tests 3D printed toys on his family's Printer Ranch, starting with the Lab's own crew of Texas critters and Lab Bots. Kid-run. Dad-supported.

Texas Toy Lab is a kid-run, dad-supported toy business founded by Joseph Jr., an 8-year-old from Austin, Texas. He picks, prints and tests every toy on the family's Bambu Lab Printer Ranch. The toys on the website are the Lab's own designs: Joseph's crew of Texas critters and Lab Bots, Tex the Lab Robot, name keychains and Genuine Printer Poop. The Lab's signature tool is the Imaginator™, an AI pipeline running on the family's own NVIDIA DGX Spark™ computers that turns a child's typed or spoken toy idea into a printable 3D model in about a minute, using open AI models (NVIDIA Nemotron, Stability AI's SDXL-Turbo and Tencent's Hunyuan3D-2, via Hugging Face). Designing a toy is free; printing is the paid step, and a grown-up approves the exact revision before anything prints. Behind the scenes the business runs on agentic AI: Joseph Jr.'s father, Joseph Crabtree, founder of additive-manufacturing company AMT PostPro and now of AI lab Thinking Humans, builds the AI-agent harnesses that handle the Lab's back office on Norman, a used Dell PowerEdge server. Anything new, and anything with money in it, gets its own yes from a grown-up. A short list of routine things (social posts from the approved queue, routine inbox replies, market reminders, routine texts) goes out under standing rules after a pull window: fifteen minutes, five for texts. Texas Toy Lab is a registered CPSC Small Batch Manufacturer. Children's Product Certificate work is underway; none is finished yet.
