What we print for you

Plastic parts, one or a hundred

  • Print my file

Found a model on Printables or Thingiverse, or drew your own? Send the STL, 3MF or STEP. We check it will print, pick the right plastic and print it. No printer needed.

  • Replacement parts

A snapped knob, a lost clip, a bracket nobody sells anymore, an appliance or IKEA part. Text a clear photo next to a ruler, or bring it to us, and we draw and print a new one.

  • Prototypes

For startups, engineers and makers who need to hold an idea this week. One part or a short run, in real engineering plastics, with notes on what to change before you make more.

  • Gifts and promotional items

Name keychains, logo tags, party favors, team and teacher gifts, wedding favors and holiday ornaments. See the name keychains and party packs for ideas.

  • Hobby parts

RC car and truck parts, drone and FPV frames, mounts and brackets for your car or bike, LEGO-style pieces, model kit add-ons and cosplay props.

  • Big prints

Up to about 25 cm (10 inches) on each side in one piece. Larger signs, props and models we print in sections that fit together.

Designed it with Claude? We'll print it.

Your AI design, made real

  1. You describe it to Claude
  2. It writes the model as code
  3. We check it and print it
  4. A real part in your hand

AI chats like Claude can now write a 3D model for you, usually as OpenSCAD or CadQuery code rather than a file. Send us exactly what it gave you, the code or the file. We turn it into a model, check that it is one solid piece, thick enough and small enough for the printer, and send you a quote. If something needs changing, we tell you what to ask the chat to fix.

Get a printable design first time. Describe your idea to the chat, then paste this:

Design this as one solid part for FDM 3D printing on a Bambu Lab printer: 0.4 mm nozzle, walls at least 1.2 mm thick, a flat base, no overhangs steeper than 45 degrees, and small enough to fit in 250 x 250 x 250 mm. Write it as OpenSCAD code and tell me the overall size in millimeters.

Questions about 3D printing

How much does 3D printing cost?

It depends on the size, the plastic and how many you need. Small parts often cost a few dollars of plastic and machine time; we send a free quote before anything prints, so you see the price first.

What files can you print?

STL, 3MF, STEP and OBJ files, plus OpenSCAD and CadQuery code from an AI chat like Claude. No file at all? A clear photo of the part next to a ruler is enough to start a simple replacement.

How fast can I get it?

Small jobs are often ready in a day or two. Your quote gives you a real date. Need it sooner? Say so in your message and we tell you straight away if we can do it.

How big can you print?

Up to about 25 cm (10 inches) on each side in one piece. Bigger things we print in sections that fit together.

Is my design kept private?

Yes. We only use your file to make your order. We never share it, sell it, or add it to our own toy line.

Is there anything you won't print?

Weapons or weapon parts, keys you do not own, and other people's designs you do not have the right to sell.

Do you print resin or metal?

No. We print plastic on FDM printers. For resin miniatures or metal parts we will tell you honestly and point you elsewhere.

Why a toy lab prints for you

Joseph's Printer Ranch makes toys most days. Between toy runs the printers have room, so we print for neighbors, makers and small businesses too. Every job is quoted and checked by me before it prints, and it helps pay for the next printer. Meet the Printer Ranch.
